An Ancient Chinese Wisdom

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese wisdom practiced by the Chinese for centuries. Due to many factors such as geographical differences, its long standing history, and diversity in practices, Feng Shui knowledge has developed into many different schools and approaches. One among the many is Black Sect Esoteric Buddhist School of Feng Shui, developed and transmitted by His Holiness the late Grandmaster Lin Yun.

His Holiness Grandmaster Lin Yun was the Spiritual Leader of Black Sect Esoteric Buddhism at its Fourth Stage, as well as the worldly renowned leading authority on Feng Shui. Ever since the early 1970’s when H.H. Lin Yun introduced the Black Sect Esoteric Buddhist School of Feng Shui to the U.S.A., he travelled all over the world across five continents to transmit his Feng Shui theories as well as other Black Sect Esoteric Buddhist teachings. H.H. the late Grandmaster was a much sought after Feng Shui authority for all kinds of Feng Shui consultations and blessings. He made Feng Shui renowned in the West and taught thousands of students in different parts of the world.

Definition of Feng Shui

His Holiness Grandmaster Lin Yun defined Feng Shui as the following: “Mankind uses the knowledge of different areas known to him at the time to build, to create, or to select his habitat, living and working environments, which provide him with the most suitable conditions for his survival. The study of this knowledge is called Feng Shui.”

Expanding on the above definition of Feng Shui, H.H. Khadro Crystal Chu Rinpoche, the designated successor by H.H. Lin Yun, explains further that “Feng Shui deals with the close relationship between one’s well-being and his living and working environments. The knowledge of Feng Shui is actually the study of how to eliminate harmful impacts on one’s life from the environments, and how to optimize one’s life by acquiring comfort and happiness from the environments.”

What Feng Shui Can Do for Us

Regardless of whether or not one believes in Feng Shui or has knowledge of Feng Shui, the impact of Feng Shui exists by itself objectively. The influences caused by Feng Shui can be manifested in different aspects of one’s life. Good Feng Shui is able to transform an individual’s life, enabling him to procure good heath, success and prosperity, and to avoid misfortune, illness, and difficulties in daily life.

By incorporating modern knowledge, His Holiness the late Grandmaster Lin Yun made his Black Sect Esoteric Buddhist School of Feng Shui highly adaptable to modern living.
